Visit Cossack - pearl of the Pilbara - and other local landmarks in this tour of historic areas of interest.
 

 

What to see and enjoy:

  • Cruise to Jarman Island and visit the historic lighthouse and lighthouse keepers quarters.
  • See Osprey eagles and bird rookeries.
  • Cruise Butcher’s Inlet in comfort aboard the Cossack Adventurer and see 7 unique species of mangroves near the site of the old leprosarium.
  • Visit Tien Tsin Harbour, later known as Cossack, home of the first pearling industry in Western Australia.
  • Tour the historic buildings in Cossack including the Galbraith Store, European and Japanese cemeteries and Reader’s Head lookout.
  • Experience local Aboriginal culture and visit the artists of Bujee Nhoor Phu at work in the Galbraith Store. Perhaps even pick up a souvenir!
  • Enjoy unique ambience, good food and coffee at the Cossack Cafe, as you enjoy the views over Butcher's Inlet.
  • Book a guided tour of the Cossack precinct conducted by experienced local guides.
  • Relax in solitude on pristine Settler's Beach - you may be the only person there!
  • Catch a fish off the wharf, or from other Estuary Beaches.
